Our New York office is seeking a hardworking and talented full-time Project Manager to join our growing team. We have a hybrid work schedule with a typical 3/2 split.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to Principal/Project Director for assignments and scheduling
  • Coordinates with Technical Designers for documentation & technical procedures, methods & protocols
  • Coordinates with Interior Designer for issues of design intent
  • Manages the development of design or technical solutions and/or documentation including:
○ Surveying and documenting existing conditions
○ Coordinating design and construction documents
○ Checking details, dimensions and notations
○ Checking specifications and consultant documents
○ Manages the project schedule and costs to ensure profitability
○ Quality Control and Quality Assurances of project
○ Manages and Coordinates Construction Administration
○ Assists Principals in the development of proposals and project schedules
  • Observant towards new project opportunities with both existing and prospective clients

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • BA or MA in Architecture from an accredited Architectural Program
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other pertinent project management software
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to take initiative and function with minimal supervision
  • Thorough knowledge of procedures for production of design development and construction documents, architectural planning, detailing and building materials
  • Understanding of ADA requirements
  • Understanding of NYC building codes as applicable to interior design
  • Thorough knowledge of site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineering and audio / visual / IT systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication and relationship management skills that lead to the success of a project from the design phase through the construction phase
  • Unlicensed (license strongly encouraged)
  • Membership in and participation in the AIA is encouraged
