Mark Giessen
Associate Principal | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Mark holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology and offers more than 13 years of experience. At ENV, Mark is responsible for project management, client contact, design, document coordination and construction administration.

He has been involved in a variety of projects in the academic, hospitality, retail, residential and municipal sectors. Mark is instrumental in the company’s sustainability efforts, having led the project teams for numerous LEED projects including NY Foundling- Mott Haven Charter School and the Delaware Travel Plaza.

Maryana Sverdlova
Controller | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Maryana has over 30 years of Accounting and Financial Management experience. She holds degrees in Economics and Accounting from Odessa’s University of National Economy in Ukraine. Maryana has been working in the A/I/E industry since 1997 and is responsible for all financial and human resources activities.

Michael Mase
Associate Principal | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Michael has over 25 years of experience managing many large commercial interiors projects for major clients including AT&T, Bank of New York, Related Properties Corporation and the New York Power Authority.

Michael has extensive knowledge of the Building Codes for the tri-state area along with all accessibility requirements including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), The Fair Housing Act and ICC/ANSI. Michael has done Third Party Building Code/Life Safety and Accessibility Compliance reviews for many major residential developers including AvalonBay Communities, Inc., Eakin/Youngentob Associates and Marriott.

Paul Suwada
Project Coordinator/Administrator | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Paul Suwada is a project coordinator in charge of administrating and keeping track of all projects old and new. He received his Bachelors in Business Management and Administration from Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University.

Born in Queens and raised in Brooklyn, Paul found himself exposed to various cultures throughout life, and a desire to fit in amidst their differences. Quickly becoming an adept in the fields of psychology and philosophy, Paul took his passions and sought a career that allowed him to practice his humanities.

In his spare time, Paul’s competitive and creative spirits take over as he dabbles in the arts, sports, video games and the written word. He enjoys spending his time with friends or strangers so long as they challenge his ways of thinking, or spark intellectual dialogue. He believes “Life is growth, and stagnation death”, and as such our thirst should never end.

Riddhi Chavda
Architectural Designer | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Riddhi received her Master’s degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2016, with a focus in Sustainable Architecture. She joined team ENV in 2017 as an Architectural Designer.  She has previously worked in India before moving to US.

Working in two different parts of the world, with different type of architectural practices, gives her a multicultural exposure towards design.  She further plans to become a LEED certified Architect.

Saeeol Lee
Architectural Designer | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Saeeol received her Masters of Architecture at GSAPP Columbia University in 2017. She gained experience in Seoul, Tokyo, and New York where she specialized in digital fabrication and 3D modeling.

At ENV, she is highly motivated to learn sustainable design strategy and construction management by closely working on the educational and community sector.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking the Hudson riverside listening to electronic music.

Samantha Blancato
Interior Designer/Assistant Job Captain | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Samantha graduated from the George Washington University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Fine Arts.  While in school, she received an honorable mention for placing within the top 10 students in the Steelcase NEXT Student Design Competition.

Samantha has been with ENV since August 2014, and has been involved in a variety of projects in the commercial, academic and hospitality sectors.

In her free time, Samantha enjoys art, fashion and puppies.

Savita Nayak
Senior Job Captain | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Savita grew up in the dynamic city of Mumbai, India, surrounded by beautiful post-modern and Art Deco design. She graduated from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelors of Architecture. After a few years of working on residential projects in Mumbai, she moved to the United States to receive her Masters in Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She has worked on multi-family residential projects, master planning and commercial projects in New York and Connecticut. Her interest in sustainability and green design led her to obtain her certification as a LEED AP. She is currently working on completing her Architectural Registration Exams.

She enjoys traveling the world, reading books and experiencing different cultures, and playing board games with her family. She volunteers with the Glen Rock school HSA and Junior Achievement USA.

Stephen joined ENV in the fall of 2014 and has over 30 plus years of experience working in the profession. Currently he is performing as Assistant Job Captain, producing contract documents for bidding and construction. Stephen is responsible for the production of contract documents, construction details, consultant coordination, shop drawing review and coordination.

Victoria Grimshaw
Office Manager | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Victoria holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Economics from Penn State University and Purdue University, respectively. She has a background in the legal field and the health and fitness industry. Joining the ENV team in 2018, she is excited to be a part of the world of architecture and interior design.

On a day-to-day basis, Victoria oversees the office as a whole, including answering phones, maintaining the office, scheduling lunch and learns, and assisting the Principals and marketing team as needed.

Victoria is an avid traveler and has visited over half of the United States and countless countries, always planning her next adventure. When she isn’t traveling, Victoria enjoys spending time with her friends, lifting at the gym, reading, and hiking.

Viktoryia Kirushchanka
Interior Designer | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Viktoryia graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a minor in Economics. Her work was exhibited at SIGGRAPH 2015 -17 in California and “Women Designing the Future” Annual Exhibition in 2016.

In her senior year she won the “Senior Designer of Distinction Award” for her final Interior Design Studio project. Viktoryia joined the ENV team in 2017 as an interior designer and since has been working on multiple commercial projects.

Viktoryia grew up in Belarus, Eastern Europe. Back in Belarus Viktoryia was a ballroom dancer and has earned a Fred Astaire Dance Instructor Certificate in NJ. In her spare time, she likes to dance salsa, travel, and spend time with her two little Japanese Chins.

Wei Dai
Architectural Designer | Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Wei graduated from SUNY-University at Buffalo with Bachelor and Master of Architecture. At school Wei participated in “BUFFALO NIAGARA RIVERKEEPER” to help clean up local river shores. He loves design challenges and won second place in a “Fabric Architecture” competition held by Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) in 2013.

Wei joined ENV in 2017 as an Architectural Designer working on academic, residential, and commercial projects. He has recently begun preparation for the Architectural Registration Exam.

In his spare time he enjoys cooking with challenging recipes and assembling miniature models.
