Ally MacLean
Senior Project Director | Richmond, VA

Ally graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors in Architecture, and received both her Masters of Architecture and Business Administration from the University of Oregon. She has 10 years of experience in a wide range of commercial architecture projects at various scales, including retail, mixed-use, workplace and historic rehabilitation.

She is a Senior Project Director at ENV’s Richmond office, and is a licensed architect in Virginia.

Ally enjoys the unique combination of precision and creativity that spatial design demands, and looks forward to each project as an opportunity to learn through comprehensive research and the iterative process. She exercises her attention to detail to bring construction drawings to life and deliver beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces for every client.

Ashleigh Brewer
Project Architect | Richmond, VA

Ashleigh is an accomplished architect at ENV, with over 8 years of experience specializing in housing, infill, and historic renovation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from NC A&T State University and a Master’s degree in Architecture from NC State University. Raised in Richmond, Ashleigh is deeply committed to designing spaces that enhance communities and provide meaningful experiences.

With a passion for mentoring the next generation of designers, Ashleigh actively participates in community service and advocates for greater representation within the field. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and wine tasting, exploring new cultures and experiences that inspire both her personal and professional life.

Christopher Lacey
Architectural Designer | Richmond, VA

Christopher received his Master of Architecture degree from Hampton University with a goal to express his passion for storytelling through design. After moving to Richmond from the Hampton-Roads area, he widened his perspective from various civil and residential firms throughout the metro area before jumping back into the architecture world with a new three-dimensional mindset.

With almost a decade of design experience, Christopher enjoys implementing researched design tactics and awareness with each project. He practices attention to detail through construction drawings, thorough site analysis, and vibrant renderings. When Christopher is away from his desk, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and practicing Muay Thai.

Claire Hohimer
Junior Architect | Richmond, VA

Claire received her Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with minors in Sustainable Environments and Italian Studies. Post grad, she moved cross-country to Tampa, FL where she spent three years specializing in healthcare design.

In 2025, Claire relocated to Richmond and loved experiencing the four seasons and the region’s historic architecture. Having lived and worked in diverse climates and design niches across the country, she brings a continually evolving and thoughtful perspective to every project. As a LEED accredited professional, she is particularly passionate about thoughtful, environmentally conscious design that enhances both user experience and community well‑being.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, reading, baking sourdough, playing with her dog, a good cocktail, and spending time with friends and family.

Derek McCalla
Associate Architect | Richmond, VA

Derek is a licensed Architect who grew up in Richmond and developed a passion for design and architecture at an early age. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He has 10+ years of experience in the architecture and construction field.

Over the last decade, he has worked on a variety of projects ranging from renovations to additions to new construction and a wide variety of building types. He has developed a keen eye for the details in design and construction, as well as provided well designed spaces.

As a father of two young girls, he loves spending time with his family, watching football or hockey, and playing chess.

Elizabeth Wardlaw
Interior Designer | Richmond, VA

Elizabeth moved to Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned a BFA in Interior Design and a minor in Anthropology. She came for the education and stayed for the coffee, and has since worked primarily in hospitality, workplace, and higher education interior design.

Elizabeth’s passion for design is rooted in her love of connection—between people, ideas, and experiences. Drawn to the power of communication through space, she is inspired by the opportunity to create interiors that allow individuals and communities to innovate, function seamlessly, and express their own stories. It is this ability to shape meaningful moments through design that fuels her process. She brings this devotion to connection to her role on the IIDA board where she helps bridge the gap between academia and the professional design community. Through thoughtful leadership and mentorship, Elizabeth supports emerging designers as they find their voice, build confidence, and step into the future of the industry.

Outside of work, Elizabeth can always be found with her dog Banksy or planning a trip somewhere new. Whether that’s a new restaurant or a new country, anything and everywhere is on the table.

Haleigh Daughtrey
Interior Designer | Richmond, VA

Haleigh received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design at Virginia Tech in 2024, though her love for design started long before she chose her college major. When asked how she knew this was the career path for her, she shared that on her 13th birthday she wished for nothing more than to pick out new furniture for her room. As her interests and passion have grown, her love for design has remained.

Haleigh exhibits an enthusiasm and a positive attitude that makes it a joy to work alongside her. She loves how design affects everyone, and that it is such a personal and influential part of everyday life. Building on this knowledge and her technical training, Haleigh takes a universal approach to design and beauty – noticing and appreciating it in all its forms.

Alongside interiors, she enjoys photography, fashion, crafting, traveling, reading, and quality time with friends and family. Her favorite quote is “I am this way by design”.

John Keegan
Senior Construction Manager | Richmond, VA

John is the Senior Construction Manager in the ENV Richmond office and has twenty years of experience in design and construction on a wide range of project types.  He graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree and then Virginia Tech with a master’s degree in architecture.  While his early career was focused on design and BIM leadership, he eventually developed a passion for construction administration and project management.  John is a Certified Construction Contract Administrator and Construction Document Technologist through CSI.

With a team forward mindset, John works together with clients, design professionals and contractors towards the shared goal of building successful projects and fostering relationships for future endeavors.  He has a hands-on approach to problem solving with excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills.

John spends his time out of the office enjoying his twin boys, traveling, playing golf and darts, and watching football.

Kimberly Lloyd
Project Designer | Richmond, VA

Born and raised in the Roanoke Valley, Kimberly made her way to Richmond to pursue her degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has called Richmond her home ever since. Kimberly is a Certified Interior Designer and a LEED Accredited Professional.

Working for over a decade in commercial interior design, her experience includes Corporate Interiors, Historic Renovation and Adaptive Reuse, Multi-family Housing, and Higher Education. She works closely with her clients to accurately assess their needs, anticipates future accommodations, and uses that knowledge along with industry trends to create inspirational and functional spaces. Kimberly’s keen eye for precision and graphic skills are her greatest strengths and contribute importantly to each project’s success.

Kimberly and her husband are parents to two busy preschoolers and a golden retriever. They enjoy VCU basketball, summer evenings at the pool, and socializing with their friends in the city’s Near West End.

Laura Marcus-Plant
Principal | Richmond, VA

Laura is a certified interior designer and Virginia native who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Interior Design. After working in Washington, DC with a portfolio of federal and corporate clients, she moved to New York City where she served as an Associate Interior Designer for a decade at an internationally renowned firm.

Laura honed a deep expertise in workplace design through projects for Fortune 500 companies in the international banking, fashion, advertising, and corporate sectors. She received national and international awards for design excellence, and served on the Board of Directors for the New York Office of Professions for Interior Designers.

Laura is recognized for her strengths in space planning and building analytics, and frequently consults with companies seeking to make wise real estate decisions. Now Laura brings over 25+ years of experience to co-leading ENV’s Richmond, Virginia office.

Myeisha Jackson
Administrative Coordinator | Richmond, VA

Myeisha graduated from South University with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management. She comes to ENV with previous experience in administrative roles with various companies over the past 5+ years. Myeisha loves helping others and guides them through any administrative process. She enjoys being the first point of contact with visitors at ENV and helping her colleagues to work more effectively.

In her spare time, Myeisha loves to spend time with her husband and her two daughters. You can often find her at the park with her daughters who love being outside. She loves shopping, visiting the beach, and hanging out with friends and family.

Whitney Campbell
Principal | Richmond, VA

Whitney is a registered architect (AIA), certified interior designer (CID/NCIDQ), and LEED accredited professional. Her love of design began early, and has grown into a lifelong passion. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Interior Architecture. Her range of experience from corporate interiors, government agencies, developers, and large financial institutions brings vast knowledge to all her projects.

Several of Whitney’s designs have won awards in the Virginia region; her pursuit of excellence is relentless. A self-professed “lighting nerd”, her focus on architectural lighting greatly enhances her work and creates unique experiences for her clients.

As a project manager, she’ll help guide you through a seamless construction process and lead you every step of the way. While working at ENV in New York City, Whitney was impressed with the culture and unique talent and is now co-leading ENV in Richmond, VA.

A mom of three, Whitney enjoys urban living in historic homes in Richmond City, as well as sarcasm, fashion, and a local brew on the river.
