Barton Malow

Located in the historic Sauer center, ENV was thrilled to work alongside GC Barton Malow to design their new home. Their office hosts a transient population of their field personnel, so an open and flexible work area was key to the success of the project. Their new brand was highlighted and incorporated through a strong use of colors and materiality. The corner block with ground floor entry doors allowed for an open collaboration space with strong brand visual to greet visitors as they enter for Barton Malow’s signature annual oyster roast each fall. There is simply no client like the ones who build for themselves, and this project proved design/build collaboration is not going anywhere.
