TCW

TCW wanted to increase density on the floor housing its trading floor to accommodate their growth needs. Over-sized private offices and workstations came down and the floor was opened up for trading desks with some private cubicles for heads down work and more meeting rooms for collaboration. ENV was able to increase the staff count from 72 to 102 (later coming back to remove the private cubicles and increasing the floor density to 142). Some of the staff’s concerns in this densification project were noise and germs. ENV addressed these issues by using acoustic materials such as Quiet Rock gyp board, insulated ceiling tiles and upholstered walls; installing UV lights on the HVAC units to kill germs and bacteria.

ENV modernized TCW’s traditional image with new lighting and updated details.
