Ventura Foods (Innovation Center)
ENV’s design for the relocation of Ventura Foods Innovation Center included three components – offices, labs, and a presentation kitchen. The offices match a similar design to the corporate headquarters that ENV remodeled in the same complex.
The labs had to meet extreme standards of cleanliness and durability while the presentation kitchen needed to be functional, inviting for guests, and provide live streaming capabilities for presentations.
In the Presentation Kitchen, the curved island is both functional and flexible in its design, featuring hidden shelves and the ability to easily be split into smaller sections.
The labs had to meet extreme standards of cleanliness and durability. The materials used were put through client testing before specification.
The sensory booths are used for food testing, with white lights used for appearance and red lights for taste.
