Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (VABC)
Our ENV Virginia team had the pleasure of collaborating with H&M Construction on the new headquarters for VABC in Hanover, Virginia where approximately 500 of their employees will be working. The project includes 95,000 sqft of an office building (three-stories) and an adjacent warehouse which is 315,000 sqft.
The main lobby has a display case to feature new product. The office building includes amenities such as large break rooms on every floor with a variety of booth and café seating, open collaborative areas within the open area, wellness room, coffee bars (two on each floor), and a variety of conference rooms on each floor. Adjacent to the office building is a large distribution warehouse which also includes office space, as well as a large break room and area for drivers to check in. Operating at 100% capacity, the warehouse receives and ships 22,000 to over 30,000 cases of distilled spirits every day.
Adjacent to the main lobby is a large Hearing Room where hearings will be conducted throughout the year. When hearings are not occurring, the furniture can be reconfigured for different scenarios such as conferencing and training.
Magenta and a muted blue tone are used throughout the space as a nod to the VABC logo (primary red and blue) to reflect brand identity.
